Settings and details

Difficulty levels
  • Easy: often random moves, sometimes prefers captures.
  • Medium: tactical decisions, shallow search.
  • Hard: minimax + alpha-beta (deeper), plays noticeably stronger.
Rules (classic checkers)
  • 8×8, move diagonally on dark squares.
  • Kings move and capture in both directions.
  • Multiple captures are performed in one move (automatically if chain is possible).
  • No forced capture: you can make a regular move even if a capture is available.
